Skyler Jeddore has begun tagging eels in the East Bay area. Forty eels are being floy tagged and surgically implanted with an acoustic tag then being released back in to the lake.
Atlantic tomcod (Microgadus tomcod) also goes by the name “frostfish” and “winter cod”. January is Punamuiku’s month, or, the month tomcod move upstream to spawn.
