(Ah-boggin-ah-mah-tul-teeg; Mi’kmaw translation:“we help each other”)
aims to increase our understanding of the movements and seasonal habitat use of eel, lobster, and tomcod in Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy and Bras d’Or Lake ecosystems.
Equal participation and engagement among Mi’kmaw rights holders, local knowledge holders, and academia is key to enabling better stewardship of these waterways and their inhabitants.
